about me

We all are shaped by the places we inhabit, and together, we shape those places in turn. I'm fascinated by the numberless stories that emanate from this intersection of people and place—by neighborhoods, urban and social histories, public art and design, community development, and public health.

I've written on all these topics and more, in books, parts of books, reported articles, and nonprofit communications.
